Evelyne Ruth Hall (later Adams) (September 10, 1909 – April 20, 1993) was an American athlete who competed mainly in the 80 metre Hurdles. She was born in Minneapolis. She competed for the United States in the 1932 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, USA in the 80 metre hurdles where she won the Silver medal behind fellow American Babe Didrikson. In an interview on November 11, 1991, at the age of 82, Adams claimed to be the "oldest living American Olympic medalist".〔(Transcript of ''American Women's Track and Field'' By Louise Mead Tricard at GoogleBooks )〕 Given the source of this claim it may be that she was referring to track and field athletes only. ==References==
